Larry and Eileen Schmidt of Mississippi and Hiram and Rhonda Wedel of Iowa arrived at the home of Roy and Nadine Davis on Dec. 24. They spent Christmas Day at the home of Rick and LaVae Koehn.

On Christmas Eve, Larry and Wanda Koehn had a family dinner. Guests were Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Tom and Sara Penner and family of Canada, Chris and Denise Schrock and family of Ohio, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, Tim and Shelia Koehn and family, Amy Koehn and Titus and Chelsea Koehn.

Friends and relatives attended a memorial service for longtime community member Verla Redger Dec. 29 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.

Ron and Dora Unruh hosted a family Christmas dinner Dec. 27. Guests were Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert, Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah, Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna, Darren and Corina Enns, Josh and Katelin Hendricks, Matt Hiebert, and Danika Good.

Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, and Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family visited Clayton and Betty Wiebe at their home on Christmas Day.

The Dayton Unruh family had a potluck dinner Dec. 25 at the school.

Tim and Shelia Koehn and family left for Canada Dec. 26 to visit family for a few days.

Christmas Eve guests at the home of Harry and Sheryle Rhodes were Darin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor.

Ron and Dora Unruh and Mark Unruh attended a memorial service for Elizabeth (Oliver) Unruh at First Mennonite Church in Newton.

Larry and Eileen, Hiram and Rhonda Wedel, and Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys, and Gary and Crystal Davis and Carly visited Roy and Nadine Davis Dec. 27.

Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family went to Kentucky to visit Loretta Wiebe and do some sightseeing a few days after Christmas.

Josh and Katelin Hendricks were guests of Mark and Barb Unruh Dec. 27 and 28. They had their family Christmas Dec. 28.

Ransom and Lilian Wiebe had a family dinner and supper Dec. 28. Guests were Mark and Kris Wiebe and Karalee, Kayla, and Luke, Jasper and Joni Zeiset, Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family of Iowa, and Kendall and Susie Wiebe and family.

Calvin and Janene Wiebe hosted supper Dec. 28 for Tom and Sara Penner and family, Amy Koehn, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Calla Wengar, and Kristie Buller, a Goessel friend of Sara’s.

Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family left Dec. 26 to visit family in Canada.

Titus and Chelsea Koehn went to Fredonia to be with her family on Christmas.
