Many families had out-of-state visitors with family coming home for Christmas.
Larry and Eileen Schmidt of Miss. arrived Dec. 23 at the home of her parents, Roy and Nadine Davis, while Hiram and Rhonda Wedel and foster children Jonathan and Gale of Iowa arrived Dec. 24. Rick and LaVae Koehn and sons joined everyone at the Davis home for dinner.
That evening they got together at the school for a Davis family gathering, which included Richard and Charlotte Wiebe; Troy and Marla Wiebe and family; Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family; Leland and Nedree Davis, Texas; Gary and Crystal Davis, Lehigh; and Christopher and Denise Schrock and family, Ohio.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe invited family over for dinner Dec. 25. Those in attendance were Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and Jana; Mark and Kris Wiebe and Kayla, Luke, Lance, and Levi; Jasper and Joni Zeiset, Okla.; Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family; and Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family, Iowa. Most of the group also came back for the evening.
Supper guests of Rick and LaVae Koehn Dec. 26 were Roy and Nadine Davis; Larry and Eileen Schmidt; and Rhonda Wedel and children. The Wedels returned to their home Dec. 29 and Eileen left Jan. 2.
Ron and Dora Unruh were supper guests of Mark and Barb Unruh on Dec. 28. Additional weekend guests were Josh and Katelin Hendricks, Wamego.
The Dayton Unruh family had a dinner at the school Dec. 22. Dianne Unruh and Wanda Koehn were hosts. Only a small group attended due to the weather. On the evening of Dec. 22 supper guests in the home of Titus and Chelsea Koehn were Larry and Wanda Koehn; Christopher and Denise Schrock and family; Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family; Travis and Sharon Koehn and family; Richard and Jolene Koehn and Kamilla, Carson City, Mich.; and Lena Koehn and Margie Jantz, Newton.
The Larry Koehn family had their family Christmas in the Koehn home Dec. 25.
Dinner guest of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe Dec. 29 were Warren and Jane Unruh, and Travis and Sharon Koehn and family. Conrad and Lois Yost, S.D. were visitors in the Wiebe home Dec. 28.
Wendell and Linda Wedel spent Christmas Day with her mother at the Moundridge Manor. Other family members were also present.
Those that spent Dec. 27 at the Merlin Wiebe home were Kendall and Susie Wiebe and Abigail, Jana Wiebe, and Anthony, and Beth Wiebe and family. It was a belated Christmas gathering.
