Visitors Hiram and Rhonda Wedel and Brayden from Iowa and Larry and Eileen Schmidt and Kasey from Mississippi arrived Friday at the home of Roy and Nadine Davis to spend Easter weekend. Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys joined them for Easter dinner Sunday. The Wedels returned home Sunday afternoon, and the Schmidt family left Monday.
Richard and Charlotte Wiebe’s family gathered to celebrate the couple’s 25th anniversary with a supper and open house Saturday. Among those coming from a distance were Orin and Rose (Wiebe) Koehn and family of New Plymouth, Idaho; Joseph and Brenda (Wiebe) Johnson and family of Fawns Dale, Alabama; Carlyn and Jackie Wiebe and family of Hydro, Oklahoma; and Lester and Kris Friesen of Wyoming. Local hosts were the Troy Wiebe family, Dalton Wiebe family, Marlin Wiebe family, and Aryln and Kalynda Wiebe.
Wendell and Linda Wedel went to Halstead for Easter. They attended church services with Travis and Connie Becker and family and were their dinner guests.
Twelve members of Durham Senior Citizens met for a potluck dinner March 28. Delores Burch was hostess, and Marsh Howe showed a video about Lester Raymer’s work on display at the Red Barn in Lindsborg.
The Lela Wedel family met for a basket dinner Sunday at Sugar Creek School near Galva. Warren and Jane Unruh and family were hosts.
Among those having Sunday dinner at the home of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were Mark and Kris Wiebe and Luke; Jasper and Joni Zeiset and family of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Lance Wiebe and friend from Nebraska; and Brian and Rebeaca Thomas and family.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were invited to a friendship supper March 27 at Alexanderfeld Church near Hillsboro.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, and Junior Koehn of Montezuma were invited to a Koehn family reunion Sunday at the home of Melinda Schneider in Moundridge.
Barb Unruh spent Monday in Hutchinson visiting her sister-in-law, Elaine Stutzman from Montana, in the home of Chad and Hillary Stutzman.
