It was very quiet this weekend because of the big rain. About 4 inches was received and it brought many challenges. There were many roads covered with water that were impassable.
The Ron Unruh family had its early Christmas on Sunday with Lisa Enns of Seattle. Other guests were Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert, Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah, Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna, David and Ashley Enns and family, Josh and Katelin Hendricks and Jayden, and Darren and Corina Enns.
Guests of Roy and Nadine Davis for supper Saturday were their grandsons.
Rick and LaVae Koehn went Saturday to a company Christmas dinner in Wichita.
On Thursday evening, Morning Star Youth went to Salina to sing at a rest home. Later that evening they were supper guests in the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe.
Dora Unruh, Brenda Enns, and Lisa Enns had breakfast Monday in Durham. Lisa returned to Seattle on Tuesday.
