Lola Redger’s brother, Vernon Nightingale, 85, died. Memorial services were Friday morning at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Lola and her family left Thursday and returned home Saturday evening.
A large group from the community attended a friendship supper Thursday at Morning Star Church. It was prepared by the youth and sponsors with a program to conclude the evening.
Larry and Wanda Koehn went to Moundridge Manor on Sunday where they met Lena Koehn, Margie Jantz, Howard and Iris Eck and Kralyn, and Crystal Koehn.
Jasper and Joni Zeiset entertained Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Wendell and Linda Wedel, Tim Davis, Ruth Boehs, Sandy Wiebe, Teresa Wiebe and Aaron and Janessa Herbel with a dinner in their home Nov. 13 to raise funds for a school.
Dora Unruh and Mark and Barb Unruh attended a memorial service for Dora’s cousin John F, Edgier, 84, at Bethel Mennonite Church near Inman.
Ruth Boehs invited Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Lela Wedel, Gary and Crystal Davis, Carly and Rylen, Sandy Wiebe, and Wayne and Lora Lee Wiebe and family for dinner together Sunday.
Ron and Dora Unruh were hosts for an annual Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday at their home. Guests were Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert, Barb Unruh, Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna, David and Ashley Enns and family, Matt Hiebert, Sarah Unruh, Josh and Katelin Hendrickson, and Jayden Wamego.
