NORTHWEST OF DURHAM: Senior citizens meet for monthly meeting

Durham Senior Citizens met Aug. 26, at which time 15 people enjoyed watermelon dinner with sides and played bingo.

Overnight guests at the Ransom and Lillian Wiebe home since Aug. 26 were Denver and Jessica Unruh and family, relatives of Brian and Rebecca Thomas, who they also spent time with.

A group got together Sunday evening for a time of singing hymns and fellowship. Those who attended were Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Titus and Chelsea Koehn, Terry and Robyn Schultz and family, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Calla Wenger, Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff and family, and Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht.

Many attended the farm sale of Palmer Base Saturday.

Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, Marcel and Wendy Unruh and family, John Steiner, and Richard Messinger joined Clayton and Betty Wiebe for dinner Sunday.

Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Titus and Chelsea Koehn, Richard and Charlotte Wiebe, Heath and Tannis Dirks and Jackson, Rebecca Peachy and Katie Schmidt were invited by Warren and Jane Unruh, Lehigh, for dinner Sunday.

Ron and Dora Unruh joined Milt Duerksen and Eulalia Schroeder at Marvin and Rosalie Duerksen’s home near Goessel Sunday to plan an upcoming Regier reunion.
