NORTHWEST OF DURHAM: Senior Jammers perform for Durham seniors

Durham Senior Citizens had 17 members present at a monthly potluck dinner March 22 at the community center. Joyce Medley was hostess. The Senior Jammers from Hillsboro, including Richard Dirks, Elmer Delk, and Billie Goessen, performed some music.

Jason and Sheri Wiebe invited Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Mark and Kris Wiebe, Luke and Kayla, and Jasper and Joni Zeiset to be their supper guests Saturday evening to celebrate Mark’s 50th birthday.

Clayton and Betty went to Moundridge on Friday evening to the Wheatland School, where their granddaughter Brooke Wiebe and other teachers, parents, and students presented a program with facts and decorations of six national parks of the United States.

The Ron Unruh family held an early Duerksen Easter gathering Sunday at Durham Community Center. Those at the noon potluck were the Unruhs, Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah, Warren and Anita Unruh, Kyle and Jenna, Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert, Milt Duerksen, Eulalia Schroeder, Marvin and Rosalie Duerksen and Sandy, Marlo and Lynette Duerksen, Gary and Angie Duerksen, Olivia and Zach, Brendan and Susan Nafziger, and Nancy Schroder and Scott.

Visitors for fellowship and refreshments Sunday evening at the home of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were Mitch and Carol Unruh and family, Aaron and Janessa Herbel and Kade, Jarold and Rhonda Koehn, and Tim Davis.

Ron and Dora Unruh had supper Saturday with Dennis and Cindy Unruh at a Salina restaurant.
