A severe wind storm June 5 did a lot of damage to area trees and farm buildings, tearing roofs off some. Timely rains have made spring crops look better, pastures are getting greener, and there will be alfalfa to cut.
On June 1 Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Calla Wengar, Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff and family, and Anthony and Beth Wiebe and family had an evening of fellowship and refreshments at the home of Doug and Starla Koehn.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe and Harry and Sheryle Rhodes took dinner to the home of Richard and Charlotte Wiebe on June 8. Others attending were Roy and Nadine Davis and Tim Davis.
Dora Unruh took David and Ashley Enns and family, Matt Hiebert, Darren and Corina Enns Riley, Katelin Hendricks of Wamego, Sarah Unruh, Nathan, and Kyle, and Jenna Unruh to breakfast June 8 for the annual Unruh grandchildren breakfast.
