NORTHWEST OF DURHAM: Unruhs attend grandson's college graduation

Ron and Dora Unruh and Brenda Enns went to Manhattan Saturday to attend the Kansas State University graduation of the Unruhs’ grandson, Matt Hiebert. He earned a degree in business administration and management. They all had lunch at Matt’s apartment hosted by his parents Lon and Deb Hiebert.
Saturday evening and overnight guests of Roy and Nadine Davis were their grandsons, while Rick and LaVae Koehn attended the Country Side Feed employees Christmas dinner in Wichita. The Koehns were dinner guests of Roy and Nadine on Sunday.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe invited Quinton and Dianne Unruh Katie and Jessie, Darrel and Donita Rhodes, Tim Davis, and John Steiner to be their dinner guests on Sunday.
The Morning Star Church youth and some young couples and families have been caroling in the community to many residents.
Ron and Dora Unruh and Mark and Barb Unruh joined other Duerksen family members on Sunday for an early Christmas at Goessel Community Building. There was a short program and a gift food exchange. The Milton Duerksen family were hosts.
Wendell and Linda Wedel took their Main Street Café employees out for supper at a restaurant in Wichita on Monday evening.
