Jasper and Joni Zeiset are new parents of a daughter, Lillian Krintina Kay, who was born Friday at Newton Medical Center. She weighed seven pounds. She has a brother Kelton to welcome her home. Local grandparents are Mark and Kris Wiebe, and great-grandparents are Ransom and Lillian Wiebe. The Wiebes went to visit the new great-granddaughter Friday.

Friday visitors at the Clayton Wiebe home were Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family.

Dora Unruh attended the reunion of South Bloomfield School on Sunday at Goessel. The school is now at the Goessel museum complex. It was two miles west and one-half mile south, where Dora attended all eight years.

Sunday evening supper guests of Merlin and Karletta Wiebe were Ransom and Lilian Wiebe, Lela Wedel, Louise Ratzlaff and Rayletta, Anthony and Beth Wiebe and family, and Aaron and Janessa Herbel and Kade.

Going to Marion Reservoir on Sunday for a picnic were Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Ken and Shelie Giesbrecht and Taylor, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Mike and Mich Rhodes and family, Terry and Robyn Schultz and family, and Terry’s sister Paula Schultz from Michigan.

Senior citizens met July 26 for their annual hamburger fry at the community building. Twelve members shared childhood memories after lunch.

Roy and Nadine Davis went to Iowa July 29 to visit Hiram and Rhonda Wedel and Brayden. They attended Brayden’s adoption.

Dinner guests July 30 at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe were Nelson and Bev Wiebe, Brooke and Jacob; Jordan and Katie Wiebe; Ray and Carol Schmidt of DeRidder, Louisiana; Myron and Lisa Penner and family; Amos and Kathryn Unruh from Canada; Audria Wiebe from Wisconsin; and Henry Koehn from Montezuma.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe went to Montezuma July 29 to attend the visitation for Elberta (Walter) Redger, 88.

The A. E. and Minnie Pankratz family gathered July 30 at the community building at Kidron Bethel Village. Direct descendants Althea Zimmerman of Missouri and Luella Burkhart, and Arlene Pankratz were in attendance. Going from here were Ken Pankratz, Ron and Dora Unruh, and Mark and Barb Unruh.

Jordan and Katie Schmidt had their wedding reception July 30 at Morning Star Church.
