Theft and forgery were reported Sept. 11 on Lakeshore Drive, Marion. Two personal checks were taken and forged for a total of $219.

Criminal damage to property

A mailbox and post at 401 E. Broadway, Burns, were reported damaged at 10:40 a.m. Sept. 15. The damage was estimated at $150.
