Criminal damage

Stan Conover, 55, reported that a mailbox valued at $100 was vandalized between 3 p.m. Dec. 27 and 2 p.m. Dec. 28 at his home on 130th Road near Diamond Road.

Hillsboro police

Theft

Charles Ayers, 58, of 580 150th Road, Hillsboro, reported that a person suspected of using drugs and alcohol stole a checkbook from his residence at 1:22 p.m. Dec. 15.

Theft

Danniel Ed King, 60, of Hillsboro reported theft of $350 of scrap metal between 8 a.m. Dec. 13 and 11 p.m. Dec. 20.
