According to law enforcement reports released this week:

Marion

Possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangerment of a child

Jackie W. Shelton, 53, Marion, Deborah L. Shelton, 54, Marion, and Clifford J. Vanderzanden, 39, Marion, were arrested on suspicion of multiple drug-related charges at 9:14 a.m. Friday when Marion police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Walnut St.

Jackie Shelton and Deborah Shelton each were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangerment of a child.

Vanderzanden was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia

Jennifer K. Winston, 28, Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:22 a.m. Sunday on US-56 near Industrial Rd. after officer Lee Vogel stopped Winston for a headlamp out. Vogel called officer Mike Stone and police dog Legion to verify a suspicion he had about the driver. Legion indicated on a suspicious odor and a subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly yielded approximately 4.6 ounces of marijuana THC edibles.

Burglary

Jeremy Friesen, 44, reported theft of $2,500 cash from his residence in the 200 block of E. Case St. in Lehigh between 12:30 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. Feb. 27. According to the offense report, force was used to gain entry to the home.

Theft of property

A 1999 Dodge minivan owned by Rodney Friesen, 56, Lehigh, and valued at $2,000 was stolen from his home on 210th Rd. between Alamo and Bison Rds. Between 6:30 p.m. March 28 and 7:45 a.m. March 29. The minivan was recovered March 29.

Criminal damage to property

Esley Schmidt, 90, Walton, reported that a roadside mailbox at his residence on Eagle Rd. between 70th and 80th Rds. was damaged between 4 p.m. March 28 and 8 a.m. March 29. The loss was valued at $100.
