These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Felony theft, firearm theft

A .17-caliber Savage Arms rifle, a 12-gauge Remington shotgun, a Savage Arms scope, and an unlocked 1998 Ford Mustang, together valued at $3,089 were reported stolen between 9:41 and 11:55 p.m. June 4 from Dallas Boese’s residence west of Goessel on 120th Rd.

Possession of stolen property, altering vehicle ID, driving without valid license

A stolen, 20-foot enclosed trailer valued at $10,000 was recovered at 2:20 p.m. June 6 at 5th and Marion Sts. in Florence after sheriff’s deputy Derek Fetrow noticed it had no visible license tag.

Johnny Dolph, 46, Florence, was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property, altering or removing a vehicle identification number, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

The trailer’s rightful owner was not identified in the public portion of Fetrow’s report.

MARION

Criminal damage

A vandal caused an estimated $150 damage to a wooden and metal bench in Marion’s Central Park between 5 p.m. May 8 and 8:30 a.m. May 9.

Driving with a canceled, suspended, or revoked license

Nancy Garcia, 43, Florence, was arrested on suspicion of driving with a canceled, suspended, or revoked license at 12:15 p.m. May 12 in the 600 block of N. Cedar St. in Marion.

She was released 15 minutes later on a $1,000 surety bond.

Domestic battery

Derrick Dvorak, 23, was pushed backward down stairs, then tackled as he attempted to stand up, during a dispute at 6:30 p.m. May 13 in the 800 block of E. Main St. in Marion.

His brother, Zachary Dvorak, 21, of Galva was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. He was released without bond two days later.

Office Bryce Suffield’s report listed drinking as a contributing factor.

Domestic battery, child endangerment

Drinking was listed as a contributing factor in a domestic dispute in which two adults were arrested and four juveniles were taken into protective custody at 10 p.m. May 19 in the 1100 block of Weldon St. in Marion.

One person was struck in the face; another, kicked in the leg.

Krystle Strong, 31, and Travis Hamm, 40, both of the same Weldon St. address, were arrested. They were released without bond half a day later.

Driving under the influence

Janae Wiebe, 29, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs at 10:40 p.m. May 21 in the 400 block of W. Main St. in Marion.

She was released 13 hours later on $1,000 surety bond.

Criminal damage

A vandal caused an estimated $350 damage by shattering the windshield of a Flamings Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning truck with a rock while the truck was parked between noon May 22 and 8:45 a.m. May 29 in the 200 block of Water St. in Marion.
