Hillsboro
Property damage, burglary
Sierra Lyon, 21, Lenexa, reported at 2:25 p.m. Dec. 2 that her laptop computer had been damaged between 10 p.m. Dec. 1 and 1 p.m. Dec. 2 at 400 S. Jefferson St. in Hillsboro. The laptop was damaged beyond use, and the charger was stolen. No suspect has been found.
Property damage, misdemeanor
Stephanie Manuz, 19, Clifton, Arizona, reported at 10:15 p.m. Dec. 2 that her car had been damaged between 1 and 10 p.m. at 400 S. Jefferson St. in Hillsboro. There were scratches to her registration decal, as well as on her driver’s and passenger-side doors. No suspect has been found.

Marijuana possession
Troy Jones, 19, Ramona, was issued a citation for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and city ordinance violation of a loud stereo. Police chief Clinton Jeffrey was conducting a traffic stop at 7:07 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 1000 block of E. Main St. when he observed a marijuana smoking pipe in the driver’s door, in plain view. Upon searching, less than .1 gram marijuana was found. Passenger Tanner Peterson, 18, Lost Springs, was issued a citation for possession of marijuana. Both were released from the scene pending an appearance in Municipal Court.
