These offenses reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
Hillsboro
Theft
Glenn W. Ratzlaff, 69, Hillsboro, reported that his 2003 Dodge Dakota was stolen between 9 and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 2 from Tabor College’s parking lot at 400 S. Jefferson St. The vehicle was recovered the next day in a Wichita alley, near a known drug house. No arrests have been made.
Marion
Theft
Travis J. Schafer, 43, Marion, reported four chainsaws, valued at $1,80, were stolen in the 300 block of Welch St. between Oct. 1 and Saturday.
Theft
Landon T. Pederson, 21, Marion, that a license plate was stolen while it was parked between Dec. 6 and Sunday outside his residence in the 500 block of N. Freeborn St.
Peabody
Domestic battery
Police placed a child in protective custody Dec. 27, filed a case of neglect with the county attorney. Police also reported battery, possession of a federal II drug, and possession of cigarettes by a minor at the same address. Police did not indicate whether an arrest was made.
Suspended license
Donald Miller, 28, Florence, was arrested Dec. 29 driving with a suspended license. He was arrested by David Harper-Head working for the Peabody Police Department, and released Dec. 30 on a $1,000 surety.
Drug possession
Jeffrey R. Linscheid, 36, Peabody, was arrested Dec. 30 on suspicion of possession of meth amphetamine, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia at his residence in 700 block of N. Locust St
