Vehicle theft

Douglass K. Wright, 68, Hillsboro, reported a 1996 Dodge pickup truck, worth $7,900, was stolen from Wright’s Auto between 9:56 and 10:33 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 200 block of E. D St. How the vehicle was stolen was unknown since the keys were not in the truck at the time. The theft was reported the following morning.

Theft

Quinn B. Trapp, 57, Marion, reported a catalytic converter worth $900 was stolen from a Marion School District vehicle between 8 a.m. Dec. 9 and 5 p.m. Dec. 13 in the 1500 block of E. Main St. The theft was reported Dec. 16.
