Sheriff’s office
Burglary and theft
Pat Gilliland, Topeka, reported burglary and theft of antique kerosene lamps and wood stoves from 1821 Holly Rd., Hillsboro, at 2:20 p.m. Dec. 28. The value of the loss is estimated at $475.
Marion
Domestic battery
Michael E. Richmond, 58, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and criminal damage to property at 5:22 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 400 block of N. Freeborn St. after he knocked a phone out of the victim’s hand and gave the victim a small cut on the nose. There was also a TV damaged that was worth $150, and a coffee table.
Peabody
Domestic battery
Kevin R. Montgomery, 33, Peabody, arrested Dec. 27 on suspicion of domestic battery in the 200 block of N. Elm St.
Child endangerment
Matthew M. Frazier, 25, Peabody, was arrested Dec. 27 on suspicion of endangering a child, aggravated domestic battery, theft, disorderly conduct, and interfering with law enforcement. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Peabody St., but Frazier was arrested in the 500 block of N. Walnut St.
