Driving under the influence
Blood was drawn from a 45-year-old Marion man who appeared intoxicated, allegedly failed a field sobriety test, and had a gram of marijuana in his vehicle at 12:18 a.m. June 12 on US-56. near Ash St. Charges are pending.
Driving under the influence
Blood was drawn from a 38-year-old Marion man who appeared intoxicated and allegedly failed a field sobriety test riding a mini motorcycle at 9:10 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of W. 2nd St. Charges, including driving under the influence, operating a vehicle without registration or interlock, and violating license restrictions, are pending.
Domestic battery
A Hillsboro woman was choked during an argument 5:45 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of F St.
Christian F. Ward, 43, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. A TV set, fan, dishes, and a coffeemaker were reportedly damaged.
peabody
Possession of methamphetamine
Half a gram of methamphetamine was discovered April 29 at Peabody Market, according to offense reports released last week. The discovery was not reported to police for several hours. No further information was available.
Theft
License plates valued at $250 were reported stolen between 10 p.m. June 14 and 4:45 p.m. June 15 from an unidentified person’s vehicle in the 200 block of S. Maple St.
