Marion

Possession of methamphetamine

A Marion woman wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 15 after a traffic stop near Main and Roosevelt Sts., when syringes and methamphetamine residue were found in her vehicle. A canine unit was used to conduct a search of the vehicle and find the illegal items. Natalie R. Geren, 38, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and on outstanding warrants.

Possession of marijuana

A Marion man was arrested at 1:52 p.m. Saturday after police executed a search warrant in the 700 block of N. Cedar St. and found 12 marijuana plants, a bag of fertilizer, and a syringe. Bryan T. Grosse, 39, Marion was arrested on suspicion of cultivating a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police had received a citizen complaint informing them that the plants were growing in the house’s yard, according to police chief Clinton Jeffrey.

Public intoxication

Dustin W. Glenn, 35, Peabody, was arrested Sept. 16 in the 200 block of N. Walnut St. on suspicion of public intoxication.
