These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:



William M. Kroupa, Lincolnville, reported theft of several items worth $8,600 between 4 p.m. Dec. 5 and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 6 near Sunflower and 260th Rds. The items stolen included a welder and generator worth $6,000, cutting torch and bottles worth $1,500, chop saws worth $380, welding leads worth $250, welding helmet worth $150, table vice, right angle grinder, and 12-volt battery worth $100 each, and hand tools worth $20.



Aften L. Amos, 37, Marion, reported that a whiskey box worth $54, as well as a coloring book, cell phone accessories, and an SD card were stolen between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 600 block of Hudson St.

Burglary and theft

Marion police chief Clinton Jeffrey was on patrol at 9:20 a.m. Sunday morning when he found that $16,000 worth of collectible Legos had been stolen from a storage unit in the 700 block of N. Roosevelt St. Ninety-three collector’s sets were stolen, ranging in value from $5 to $700.

Police recovered half of the stolen items when executing a search warrant at 3:06 p.m. at 413 S. 4th St. Ashley B. Loomis, 32, Marion, and Ronald L. Pierce, 53, Marion, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property.


Possession of methamphetamine

Execution of a search warrant Saturday at 802 N. Olive St. resulted in the arrests of two men and a woman after methamphetamine and marijuana were found in a house where they were. Jason L. Anderson, 47, Peabody, Lonney R. Taichmann, 61, Peabody, Mystery S. Prieto, 38, Topeka, were arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, and drug paraphernalia.

Richard D. Hill, 33, Wichita, was arrested during the same incident on suspicion of aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, and criminal damage to property.
