These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
Burglary and theft
Dustin L. Jensen, Burdick, reported a 2012 GMC Terrain, two bank cards, a wallet, and a Ruger LC9 stolen between 7:10 and 7:40 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 500 block of Wichita St., Lincolnville. The value of the loss is estimated at $15,420.
Burglary and theft
Vernon Dyck, Hesston, reported automotive tools, an air grinder, a socket set, and an arc welder stolen between 5:30 p.m. Dec. 20 and 2:15 p.m. Dec. 21 on 80th Rd. between Falcon and Goldenrod Rds. The value of the loss is estimated at $650.
Hillsboro
Theft
Reginald J. Hiebert, 62, Hillsboro, reported that an unknown person had entered Hillsboro Body Shop and stolen nine business checks between 8 a.m. Dec. 21 and 9 p.m. Dec. 23. The checks later were cashed at Central National Bank in Salina, according to offense reports released Dec. 30.
Driving under the influence
A Hillsboro man was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding Thursday at D St. and Floral Dr. Zachary G. Anderson, 24, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Peabody
Theft
Tony Paquette, Peabody, reported light bulbs worth $50 were stolen at 6 p.m. Dec. 12 from his residence in the 200 block of Central Ave.
Aggravated battery
Jason L. Anderson, 47, Peabody, reported being a victim of aggravated battery between 7:40 and 11:49 p.m. Dec. 12 at 802 N. Olive St. Criminal damage to property also was reported, including five windows with $1,000 worth of damage, a stove with $600 worth of damage, and a door with $250 worth of damage. Richard D. Hill, 33, Wichita, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, and criminal damage to property.
Anderson, Lonney R. Teichmann, 61, Peabody, and Mystery S. Prieto, 38, Topeka were arrested on suspicion of marijuana and methamphetamine with intent to sell or distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia after nine grams of methamphetamine, 82 grams of marijuana, and $750 worth of drug paraphernalia were found in the house.
Teichmann was listed on offense reports as a second victim but there was no indication what he was a victim of.
Dog at large
Rickard W. Miles, Peabody, reported two counts of dogs running free and not having their vaccinations Dec. 10 in the 200 block of N. Olive St. The report was made Dec. 22.
Criminal damage to property
Zachary Naylor, Peabody, reported a mailbox post was damaged between 9 and 11 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 200 block of W. Division St.
Dog at large
Lewis R. Litton, Peabody, reported a dog was running free without any dog tags Dec. 24 in the 200 block of N. Pine St. The report was made Dec. 29.
