These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
Theft
A 1996 Chevrolet 1500 pickup and a .22-caliber revolver, together valued at $4,550, were reported stolen at 12:15 a.m. Sept. 18 from Timothy L. Wedel’s residence near 100th and Chisholm Trail Rds.
Both were recovered later that day near Durham. Although an official offense report does not mention it, $4,500 in fire bunker gear and prescription safety glasses later also reported stolen were recovered by Goessel firefighters along a roadside near Lindsborg.
Theft
A red Arctic Cat all-terrain vehicle valued at $2,000 was reported stolen between 7 p.m. Sept. 22 and 4 p.m. Sept. 24 from David W. Tharp’s residence near 120th and Quail Creek Rds.
Criminal damage
A reported attempt to break into Amy D. Stutzman’s residence near 110th and Pawnee Rds. caused an estimated $200 in damage to a window screen at 2:36 p.m. Thursday.
HILLSBORO
Criminal damage
A shelter house at Hillsboro Memorial Park sustained an estimated $300 in damage between noon Sept. 16 and 11 a.m. Sept. 24.
Criminal damage
The windshield of Judy A. Rich’s 2009 Chevrolet Impala sustained an estimated $312 in damage between 7:30 and 11:59 p.m. Sept. 25 while the car was parked outside her residence in the 400 block of S. Lincoln St.
