These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Theft

Russell J. Klenda of Wamego reported that a 1971 Chevrolet Impala body valued at $1,500 and an International H-series tractor frame valued at $700 were stolen between Feb. 1 and 13 from a field or woods near 310th and Pawnee Rds.

Theft

Chad L. Kuebler of Grimes, Iowa, reported that a Heartland North Country camper trailer valued at $12,000 and owned by JC Enterprises of Webster City, Iowa, was stolen between Jan. 8 and Feb. 14 from a rental storage area north of Canada.

Theft

Donald P. Meysing reported that a Bobcat skid steer with pallet fork valued at $20,000, a 2006 Ford F-250 pickup valued at $3,000, and a homemade 16-foot tandem pole trailer valued at $500 were stolen between 5 p.m. and midnight Feb. 16 from his residence near 290th and Quail Creek Rds.

PEABODY

Criminal damage

An estimated $1,000 damage was done Jan. 27 to bleachers at a ballpark at 5th and Spruce Sts. Police chief Bruce Burke said the appeared to have been hit by a vehicle.

Burglary, criminal damage

A drug user is suspected of stealing an antique light fixture valued at $50 and damaging shingles, screens, door frames, wallpaper, cabinet doors, and shower tiles during in a break-in between 5:55 and 6:16 p.m. Feb. 12 at a vacant house in the 400 block of N. Elm St.

According to monitored radio transmissions, the house, owned by Margarita Sisneroz of Denver, was being watched by a relative who lives nearby. She alerted police upon seeing someone enter.

Officers appeared to be changing shifts at the time. The officer originally notified went off duty, and a different officer came on duty and responded to the call 21 minutes after it was received. By then, the burglar apparently had left.

MARION

Domestic battery, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia

Bryttnii M. Johnson, 30, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an altercation at 12:38 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of N. Cedar St.

Officer Aaron Slater reported discovering a multicolored bong, a silver grinder, and an unweighable amount of vegetation and residue after Emily A. Tessendorf, 33, reported that she had fled the residence.

According to Slater’s report, the two women were involved in a relationship, and alcohol and drug use played a role in the incident.

Johnson was released from jail 12 hours later on $5,000 surety bond.

Aggravated domestic battery, interference with law enforcement

Kyle M. Tully, 33, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and interference with a law enforcement officer after police were called to a fight in the 100 block of S. Roosevelt St.

Amy D. Korte, 31, described in officer Aaron Slater’s report as Tully’s spouse, suffered an apparently minor head injury after allegedly being pushed.

Alcohol was involved in the incident, according to Slater’s report.

Tully was released from jail 10 hours later on $2,500 surety bond.
