These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Theft

Jon D. Gehrke, 33, reported that a chain saw valued at $600 was stolen between 5:30 p.m. July 7 and 1:30 a.m. July 8 from his home in the 200 block of N. Olive St. in Peabody.

Burglary, felony criminal damage

Break-ins at four downtown Peabody businesses between 5:33 and 6:37 a.m. July 8 caused an estimated $2,279 in damage, according to a report released Friday.

Also stolen in the break-ins, reported in last week’s newspaper, were a pack of Pyramid Red 100s cigarettes, a cigarette lighter, and a drink from a PowerAde cooler.

A glass door at Peabody Market. 208 N. Walnut St., sustained an estimated $460 damage. Nearby, glass doors at CK Pharmacy, 126 N. Walnut St., sustained similar damage.

At Vintage Bank Kansas, 201 N. Walnut St., two glass breaks are estimated to have cost $1,120 to repair. An interior door at Peabody’s post office, 105 W. 2nd St., also sustained damage estimated at $239.

As previously reported, Lauren R. Wolf, 38, Peabody, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and felony criminal damage to property. More than a week after the incidents, she remained in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court today.

Burglary

No signs of forced entry were found after Tammy N. Sheridan, 43, reported that 94 pills were stolen at 6:05 p.m. July 12 from her residence in the 100 block of E. 9th St. in Florence.

Listed as stolen were 92 tablets containing an opioid along with single tablets of an anticonvulsant and a mental health drug.

HILLSBORO

Criminal damage

A window in a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu belonging to Guadalupe J. Sosme, 32, was broken between 9:40 p.m. July 9 and 5:30 a.m. July 10 while the car was parked outside her apartment in the 300 block of N. Birch St.

Damage was estimated at $250.

Criminal damage

Mathew C. Friesen, 26, reported that a window on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee and two windows on his rental home in the 200 block of S. Date St. were broken between 7 p.m. July 9 and 8:25 a.m. July 10.

Damage, possibly caused by a BB gun, was estimated at $750. The home reportedly is owned by Alexa J. Rivir of Canton.

Across the street, windows on a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle as well as a house window and a storm door, all belonging to Mathew C. Friesen, were reported damaged during the same period.

Damage at that location was estimated at $5.900.

After viewing surveillance video from Grand Oaks Apartments nearly two blocks to the north, police have identified two juvenile suspects. Investigation is continuing.

MARION

Theft

Ricky LeShure, 38, Council Grove, reported July 9 that a $500 go-cart body, minus an engine, had been stolen from an apartment in the 1200 block of E. Main St.

The go-cart last was seen May 30. No sign of forced entry was noted.

Criminal damage

The left rear window of a 2005 Toyota owned by Ann K. Hett, 36, was broken between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday while the car was parked on the street in the 700 block of S. Roosevelt St.

Damage was estimated at $500.
