Theft

Nine round bales of brome hay weighing 1,400 pounds each were taken from a field a quarter of a mile east and 100 yards south of Eagle and 170th Rds.

Owner Eric Unruh of rural Hillsboro estimated the total value of the bales at $945.

He last saw the bales Nov. 1, but deputy Aaron Christner’s report noted that tire tracks in the field indicated the theft probably occurred Jan. 1.
