James R. A. McColl, 51, Lehigh, was jailed in lieu of $15,000 bond after he allegedly hit his common-law wife, causing possible internal injuries, during an argument at 5:46 p.m. March 5 in the driveway of her home in the 200 block of N. Vernon St. in Lehigh, according to an offense report released 10 days after the incident.
