Online calculator computes income tax increase
Taxpayers can estimate how state income tax changes enacted by the legislature will affect their personal tax liabilities by using an online calculator created by Kansas Department of Revenue.
Users will need to know their filing status, allowances claimed, and adjusted gross income.
The calculator is not a tax preparation tool, and does not account for additional variables that can affect an individual’s tax liability.
The estimate provided by the calculator can be used by an individual to decide if their tax withholdings are sufficient to cover increased income tax liability.
The calculator can be accessed at https://www.kdor.ks.gov/Apps/taxcalculator.
