Organists share musical history
A history of the first 200 years of the organ in American colonies and the United States will be presented at 4 p.m. Sunday in Richert Auditorium at Tabor College.
David and Jeannine Jordan will tell the story, “From Sea to Shining Sea,” using music, anecdotes, and visuals.
The couple has performed the program throughout the country and in 11 other countries.
“I’m passionate about making sure the organ finds a new audience,” Jeannine Jordan said. “I’m trying to broaden the scope to keep the organ alive.”
Based on seat location, tickets can be purchased for $10 to $12 for the general public, $5 to $7 for students, and $8 to $10 for senior citizens.
