Paula Frazier-Ash

Services will be at a later date for Paula Jeanne Frazier-Ash, 77, Emporia, who died Thursday at Holiday Resort Care Center in Emporia.

Paula was born June 5, 1942, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to Ralph and Nadine Harrah Frazier. She was a teacher and a counselor.

She was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church, the Elks Lodge, Order of Eastern Star, and was state scholarship chairman for the Elks.

Paula married Gary Ash, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by son Brett Baumgardner, Emporia; daughter Wendy Morris, Olathe; brother Randy Frazier, Jackson Hole, Wyoming; sister Patricia Frazier of Minneapolis, Minnesota; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established in her name with Kansas Elks Allocated Scholarships.
