Peabody also plans a full day Saturday

Peabody’s Come Home for Christmas celebration will kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday and last until 7 p.m.

Events for the afternoon and evening will include:

  • Peabody American Legion Auxiliary will sponsor a Christmas vendor showcase 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • A downtown Christmas parade will begin at 4 p.m.

Other activities from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. will include:

  • Horse-drawn carriage rides.
  • Caricature drawing.
  • Face painting.
  • Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
  • Hot chocolate served by 4-H.
  • Comedy puppet show for kids.
  • Ornament painting.
  • Grab ’N’ Go hot dogs.
  • Tortas Mary food truck.
  • Hot drinks and Boba at Porcupine Tea.
  • Peppernuts for sale at Peabody Senior Center.

Luke Hind and Zion Mennonite Choir will perform live music around the fire.

S’mores will be prepared by the fire.

An inflatable obstacle course will be available for kids.

ManeStreet Beautique will have an open house Gifts by local artisans will be for sale,. Door prizes will be offered.

Christmas lighting will be at 5:30 p.m.

Laughing Matters, a mime, juggling, and comedy act, will perform at 6 p.m. at Peabody Senior Center.
