Peabody Police Chief Bruce Burke responded to a request July 21 from the state to render service to a reportedly incompetent elderly Burke is assisting the state with paperwork related to the complaint.

Also on July 21, officers assisted with a juvenile after a suicide threat.

Two incidents on July 24 involved a juvenile’s conduct and battery involving adults. Both are under investigation.

A theft was reported July 25.
