Hillsboro

August 7 — Arrested a subject on suspicion of possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. Assisted with an out-of-control juvenile in the 500 block of S. Ash St.

August 8 — Investigated a reckless driver complaint on US-56. Reports of a trapped skunk, a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of S. Jefferson St., and of suspicious activity in the 300 block of S. Birch St. were taken. A trespass complaint in the 400 block of S. Cedar St. and a reckless driver complaint in the 400 block of W. Grand Ave. were investigated.

August 9 —Assisted a motorist on US-56. Received a parking complaint in the 200 block of W. B St.

Thursday — Assisted the sheriff with an injury accident. Took a report of a subject attempting to use a stolen credit card in Hillsboro Heights. The card was not stolen, but was listed as so due to a bank error. Took a report of a skunk on Main St. A trap was set to catch it. Returned lost property to its owner.

Friday — Assisted motorists in the 600 block of N. Ash St and at A and Ash Sts. Provided civil standby service in the industrial park. Investigated a child welfare concern in the 200 block of S. Jefferson St.

Saturday — Delivered an emergency message in the 300 block of S. Ash St. Received a traffic complaint in the 100 block of W. Grand St.

Aug. 8 — Frank David was arrested on a Marion County warrant for violating a protection order.

Aug. 9 — Lucas Samuel-William James was arrested on a Peabody Municipal Court warrant for failing to appear in court.

Thursday — Officers assisted with a two-vehicle injury accident at US-50 and Nighthawk Rd. and did a military records check.

Sunday — Officers assisted with a call to a residence involving a mentally unstable person.
