May 13 — Officers investigated reports of an opossum in the 900 block of E. D St., a dog in a hot car in Hillsboro Heights, and a suspicious person on 190th Rd.
May 14 — Officers investigated a dog complaint in the 400 block of S. Jefferson St. and suspicious noises in the 100 block of S. Main St. Officers used the sheriff’s drug dog to search a vehicle.
May 15 — Officers intervened in a domestic disturbance and arrested Eddie Eaves, 35, Hillsboro, on suspicion of criminal restraint and aggravated domestic battery. Officers investigated a disturbance at Hillsboro Community Hospital and a suspicious vehicle at the fairgrounds. Officers worked a non-injury traffic accident at Ash and D Sts.
May 16 — Officers investigated a vehicle theft in Hillsboro Heights. Officers took a report of theft from a vehicle at Tabor College. Officers investigated a dog complaint in the 400 block of E. 1st St. and an abandoned vehicle in the 300 block of N. Ash St.
Thursday — A vehicle stolen from the 600 block of S. Main St. was later recovered in a parking lot in the 400 block of S. Jefferson St. Officers provided security at Hillsboro Elementary School relative to a threat in Lehigh. Officers found a reported runaway in a residence in the 400 block of E. 1st St. and arrested Dylan Horton, 18, Hillsboro, on suspicion of harboring a runaway. Officers worked a non-injury accident in the 500 block of S. Ash St.
Friday — Officers investigated a report of a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of S. Main St. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 500 block of S. Wilson St. Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 200 block of E. E St. and a dog complaint in the 100 block of E. Grand St. Officers assisted a motorist in the 300 block of N. Ash St.
Saturday — Officers investigated a property dispute between several individuals in the 300 block of N. Main St. and worked a non-injury traffic accident in the 300 block of S. Birch St.

May 15 — Police investigated an unattended death in the 300 block of N. Maple St.
Thursday — Police investigated fraudulent use of a credit card at Vintage Bank.
Friday — Police responded to a non-injury accident at the corner of 3rd and Plum Sts. and a hit-and-run accident in the 100 block of N. Walnut St. Police also took a report of theft in the 400 block of N. Vine St.
