July 29 — Officers investigated an attempted aggravated burglary in the 500 block of W. Grand St., and checked a suspicious person in the 100 block of N. Main St.
July 30 — Officers investigated criminal damage to a door in the 400 block of S. Jefferson St. A hollow core door was kicked in but nothing was stolen.
July 31 — Officers investigated theft of money from a pop machine outside Dale’s Supermarket. Stolen was $200 cash and a lock on the machine, valued at $60, was damaged. Officers investigated a burglary of a storage unit in Hillsboro Heights.
Aug. 1 — Officers investigated a landlord-tenant dispute in the 200 block of E. Grand St. in which the tenant had been evicted. Officers investigated a report of a dog running free in the 200 block of S. Ash St. but did not locate the dog.
Aug. 2 — Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle at a storage unit and a report of a reckless driver on US-56.
Saturday — Officers investigated a report of a dog biting another dog.

July 19 — Officers investigated a report of someone sleeping outside the library and told the man to leave the premises, and took a report of a stolen wallet.
July 21 — Officers gave a verbal warning for failure to stop at Elm and Main Sts., issued a citation for speeding at 3rd and Main Sts., and assisted with an injury accident one mile west of Marion on US-56.
July 23 — Officers investigated a report of a loose dog in the 400 block of Freeborn but were unable to catch the dog.
July 24 — Officers investigated a non-injury accident in the 200 block of S. Roosevelt St., and assisted sheriff’s deputies with a call of a person threatening someone with a gun in Antelope.
July 25 — Officers told a man burning grass with a gas can present on S. Cedar St. to extinguish the fire.
July 26 — Officers picked up a dog running loose in the 1000 block of Hudson and took it to Animal Health Center.
July 31 — Officers investigated a report of domestic battery in the 100 block of N. Locust St.
