Activity reports

Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.

Hillsboro

March 31 – A verbal harassment complaint was reported in the 200 block of W. 3rd St. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 500 block of S. Ash St., but everything was OK.

April 1 – A possibly suicidal individual was reported in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St., but was unable to be located. An individual was reported for violating a restraining order. An individual reported a lost or stolen vehicle tag.

April 3 – A commercial alarm was reported in the 200 block of N. Main St., but everything was OK.

April 4 – An individual reported damage to her mailbox. A disturbance complaint was reported in the 800 block of Western Heights Circle.

April 5 – A civil standby was done in the 800 block of Western Heights Circle for a business owner asking problematic customers to leave. An individual reported inappropriate texts between two teenagers.

April 6 – A 911 disconnect was reported in the 600 block of S. Main St., but everything was OK.

Marion

April 1 – An elderly individual received assistance with a mental health issue until family arrived. A suspicious vehicle was checked in the 100 block of N. 3rd St., but everything was okay.

April 2 – A civil standby was done in the 400 block of S. 4th St. A verbal disturbance was reported in the 100 block of E. Main St., but no action was taken. A motorist was warned near Elm and Cedar Sts. for speeding. A motorist was warned near Lincoln and Main Sts. for no brake light.

April 3 – An out of control teenager was reported in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., but everything was OK.

April 4 – Three motorists received citations for speeding on Main St. near the construction zone. An individual was warned for burning brush during a burn ban.

April 5 – An individual was warned for a barking dog and no dog tags in the 300 block of Locust St. A sick skunk was put down on N. Lincoln St. A motorist was warned for speeding at Main and 5th Sts. A commercial alarm was reported in the 1100 block of E. Main St., but everything was OK. An individual was contacted for a barking dog in the 100 block of Billings St.

April 6 – A motorist was warned for texting and driving in the 700 block of E. Main St. A welfare check was done in the 400 block of S. 4th St., and everything was OK.

April 7 – An individual was warned for a loose dog and no dog tags in the 200 block of N. Lincoln St.

Peabody

April 1 – A possibly suicidal individual was reported, but was unable to be located.

April 6 – A drug investigation was opened, but no contact has been made by law enforcement.
