Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.

Hillsboro

Nov. 17 — A suspicious vehicle was reported at Industrial Park.

Nov. 18 – A disturbance was reported for yelling at Marion County Fairgrounds, but no one was found.

Nov. 19 – A suspicious noise was reported in the 900 block of E. D St. A civil standby was provided at MB Church. A reckless driver was reported on US-56.

Nov. 20 – A parking complaint was reported at C and Adams Sts.

Thursday – A possibly suicidal person was reported in the 300 block of W. D St.

Friday – A missing person reported near Willow Rd. and Juniper St. was later found.

Saturday – A reckless driver was reported on US-56, and a dog complaint was reported in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St.

Sunday – An intoxicated person was reported in the 300 block of N. Ash St.

Marion

Nov. 18 – A motorist was warned near Freeborn and Welch Sts. for a headlight out

Nov. 19 – A lost dog was reported, which was found and returned to its owner. A motorist was warned for driving the wrong way on a one-way street near 2nd and Main Sts.

Nov. 20 – A person received a citation for a loose dog. A disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of Tanglewood St., but no action was needed.

Thursday – A civil standby was provided in the 300 block of S. Thorp St.

Friday – Open burning was reported in the 700 block of S. Cedar St., but the fire was in a burn ring. A scam attempt was reported. A motorist received a citation for expired registration.

Saturday – A reckless driver was reported US-56 headed toward Marion, but could not be found. Motorists were warned for speeding on US-56 near K-256, and for no headlight near US-56 and Eisenhower St. A motorist received a citation for driving against restrictions near US-56 and Industrial Rd.

Sunday – A vehicle battery theft was investigated in the 500 block of N. Cedar St.
