Hillsboro
Dec. 9 – A suspicious person was reported on D St., but no one was found. A suspicious vehicle reported in the 100 block of S. Birch St. ended up being a motorist having mechanical issues. A parking complaint was reported at Industrial Park. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 900 block of E. D St.
Dec. 11 – A teenager was taken into protective custody. A traffic obstruction was reported in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St. A dog complaint was reported in the 300 block of S. Cedar St.
Thursday – A reckless driver reported on 190th Rd. ended up being a motorist having mechanical issues. A civil standby was reported in the 300 block of S. Cedar St.
Friday – A civil standby was provided in the 300 block of S. Cedar St. A possible prowler was reported in the 500 block of E. Grand St.
Marion
Dec. 9 – A traffic complaint was reported. A complaint was reported for a dog left outside unattended, it was later taken inside. A theft was reported at a privately owned rock quarry north of Marion.
Dec. 10 – A suspicious vehicle was reported at Marion Aquatic Center parking lot. A loose dog was picked up in the 100 block of S. Roosevelt St. and taken to Animal Health Center.
Dec. 11 – A civil standby was provided in the 400 block of S. Freeborn St.
Thursday – Motorists were warned for headlights out near Main and Cedar Sts. and on US-56 near Upland Rd.
Friday – A motorist near Main and 5th Sts. was warned for a broken tail light.
Saturday – A theft was reported in the 700 block of S. Cedar St. A motorist received a citation for violating license restrictions.
Sunday – A motorist received a citation for expired registration and no proof of insurance.
Peabody
Thursday – Protection order violation was reported in the 500 block of N. Olive St.
Saturday – A runaway Peabody teenager was found in Marion and returned home.
