Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.
Hillsboro
Dec. 16 – A welfare check was provided in the 300 block of E. D St.
Dec. 17 – A reckless driver was reported on Birch St., and a 911 disconnect was reported on Briarwood Ln.
Dec. 18 – A motorist received a citation for a traffic violation at D and Ash Sts. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 900 block of E. D St.
Thursday – A custody dispute was reported in the 100 block of S. Main St. A property dispute was reported in the 100 block S. Ash St.
Friday – Suspicious activity was reported at Western Heights Cir., but no one was found. A disturbance complaint was reported in the 300 block of W. 3rd St.
Marion
Dec. 16 – A motorist received assistance after sliding off the road near Batt and Industrial Rds.
Dec. 17 – Motorists were warned for parking in a no parking zone in the 400 block of S. 4th St., and for white light to rear near Main and Thorpe Sts.
Dec. 18 – People reported seeing footprints in the snow near their residences, in the 200 block of Locust St. and the 400 block of Coble St. A driving complaint was reported, and a person was warned for trespassing in the 700 block of S. Cedar St.
Thursday – A dog tearing up trash was reported on S. Cedar St., but no dog was found.
