Oct. 1: Officers carried out seatbelt enforcement, arrested Chris Leider, 25, of Wichita, on an alleged probation violation, and performed tactical response training at Hillsboro High School.
Thursday: Police removed flyers posted on traffic signs, fingerprinted a person for employment, and investigated padlocks cut at local storage units.
Friday: Officers investigated break-ins at local car washes, took a parking complaint, and provided a funeral escort.
Saturday: Police provided traffic enforcement, took parking complaints, responded to a non-injury accident on S. Washington St., and assisted the fire department with an alarm at Tabor College.
Sunday: Officers responded to a noninjury accident on US-56 east of Ash St., took a loud music complaint, handled a dog at large, and assisted Marion Police and Marion Sheriff’s office with a vehicle pursuit.

Sept. 29: Sarah Kallensrud, Peabody, was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
Oct. 1: Police filed an information report on truancy issues at Peabody-Burns Elementary School.
Saturday: Police covered a non-injury accident involving Sarah Kallensrud of Peabody and a horse.
Sunday: A report was filed after an investigation was completed of an August incident involving an unattended child.
