Feb. 22: A welfare check was performed in the 300 block of N. Jefferson St., and a traffic complaint was reported on Orchard Dr.

Feb. 23: A skunk was exterminated at Lincoln and Grand Sts. and a person reported a possible attempted scam.

Feb. 24: An officer was dispatched to the location of a wanted individual at the 300 block of N. Lincoln St.

Feb. 25: There was a dog complaint downtown, a report of a peddler without a permit in the 200 block of S. Cedar St., and a residential lockout in the 200 block of S. Birch St.

Thursday: There was a harassment complaint in the 200 block of W. Third St. and a child custody dispute in the 200 block of S. Cedar St.

Friday: A person was fingerprinted for employment and there was a medical alarm in the 400 block of N. Ash St.

Saturday: After taking a report of aggressive dogs in the 300 block of N. Washington St., police cited the owner for harboring a vicious animal. A large bus was removed from the 500 block of D St., and police assisted two motorists whose vehicles were stuck in the snow. There also was a noise complaint in the 200 block of E. D St., and a property dispute in the 400 block of N. Ash St.

PEABODY

Feb. 23: Police took an information report about a combative resident at Westview Manor.

Feb. 24: Police opened a case of inoperable vehicle ordinance violation for the city of Peabody. A report of criminal damage to property was filed on behalf of Peabody-Burns Elementary School.

Feb. 25: A vehicle belonging to Shirley Strotkamp of Peabody that was stolen in Dec. 2014, was recovered in Emporia and returned to the insurance company.

Thursday: Police took an information report on a civil dispute. Officers opened an investigation on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Sunday: An early morning fire at the mobile home court at W. Eighth and Peabody Sts. destroyed a mobile home. The state fire marshal is investigating the fire. Peabody police are assisting that office and the Peabody Fire Department.
