Popular pet show returns to Lincolnville's Octoberfest

The pet show at last year’s Lincolnville Octoberfest proved to be so popular that it is being held again. Registration will be at noon, and the show will be at 1 p.m.

Autumn Leaves, Fall Breeze is the theme of the Oct. 5 event.

A co-ed volleyball tournament will begin at 8 a.m. Teams will be made up of three males, and three females. The cost is $60 per team, with a 50 percent payout to the first-place team. The roundrobin tournament guarantees two games per team.

A cornhole tournament will begin at 3 p.m. Participants are asked to bring their own bags. The cost is $30, with payout for first-, second-, and third-place finishes.

An 8 a.m. fun run and 11 a.m. parade will precede inflatables, kids games, petting zoo, raffle, hourly give aways, and vendors at the park.

Bingo will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the community center.

Food

Breakfast, 7:30 a.m., Centre sophomores.

Lunch, after-prom committee

Supper, 5 p.m., American Legion.

Vendors and food truck.

Musical entertainment

9 a.m., Ralph Noriega, gospel music.

12 noon, Dylan Delk, vocalist.

2 p.m., Tammy Crosby, vocalist.

4 p.m., Yours, Mine, and Ours.

The day will conclude with a free dance from 8 to 12 p.m.
