Rolland Wesley “R.W.” Neaderhiser, 95, died Saturday at Parkside Homes Health Care Center, Hillsboro.
Born Dec. 5, 1914, in Manchester, to Benjamin and Florence (Trott) Neaderhiser, he attended schools in Manchester, Talmage, and Longford, graduating from Longford High School.
On Aug. 18, 1935, he married Naomi Louise Schmidt.
R.W. farmed and ran a Grade A dairy operation in Dickinson and Republic counties until he retired in 1980. Following retirement, R.W. and Naomi moved to Cuba. In March 2004, R.W. and Naomi moved to Parkside Homes assisted living congregate apartment complex at Hillsboro.
His parents; his wife of 69 years, Naomi; and two brothers, Raymond and Eugene, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter Elaine Lowry of Hillsboro; a son Ben of Valley Center; sister Lois Jaderborg of Des Plaines, Ill.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Danner Funeral Home in Abilene. Burial was in Keystone Cemetery, rural Manchester.
