Numerous families gathered for Father’s Day. Ransom and Lillian Wiebe celebrated with a family picnic in Lindsborg Park on June 15 with guests Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and Janessa; Mark and Kris Wiebe and Karalee, Kayla, and Luke; Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family; Anthony and Beth Wiebe and family; Bryon and Rebecca Thomas and family; and Jasper and Joni Zeiset.

Karalee Wiebe returned home June 12 from Paraguay where she spent a year teaching missionary children.

Ron and Dora Unruh and several others attended an open house for Arlene Pankratz’s 90th birthday June 15. She is Ron’s aunt.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe had as Father’s Day guests Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Tim Davis.

Wendell and Linda Wedel, Roy and Nadine Davis, Greg and Charlene Wedel and family went to church June 15 in Sedgwick and were guests of Travis and Connie Becker in Halsted.

A barbecue supper with homemade ice cream to honor Ron Unruh was June 15 at his home. Guests were Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert, Mark and Barb Unruh, Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna, and Darren and Corina Enns.

Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys met Roger and Geneva Koehn, Gary and Elda Mae Toews, Tim and Heidi Koehn and sister, Cindy, and other friends at the Harvey County Lake on June 15 for a picnic.

Charlotte Wiebe is recovering from surgery June 10 at Newton Medical Center.
