Rosann Priel

Services for Rosann Priel, 73, of Hillsboro, who died March 3 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, were Monday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Burial was in the Ebenfeld M.B. Church cemetery.

Born Sept. 12, 1946, at Harvey, North Dakota, to Herbert and Bertha Seibel of McClusky, she moved with her parents to Denver in 1962 and graduated from Alameda High School in Lakewood.

Rosann graduated from Grace College of the Bible in Omaha, Nebraska, with a degree in Christian Education and Music.

She married Warren Priel on Sept. 9, 1972, in Denver.

She was a faithful wife and mother, and many people were blessed by her musical ministry.

They moved to Hillsboro in 1998, where until recently they operated a financial services business, Financial Details and More.

Rosann is survived by her husband, Warren, of Parkside Homes; daughter Lisa Perret, Colorado Springs, Colorado; son David Priel and wife Audrey of Rolesville, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Hannah Perret, Dillon Perret, Brandon Priel, and Conner Priel; brothers Harlan Seibel and wife Marlene of Denver and Ronald Seibel and wife Kathy of Wichita; sister Rowena Plett and husband Jerry of Lincolnville; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, sister Darlene Timnick, nephew Joel Seibel, and brother-in-law Victor Timnick preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established with Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
