Rosie Plenert
Services for retired music teacher Rosella Mildred Nickel Plenert, 89, who died Thursday at Grandwood Assisted Living in Grove, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion.
Burial in Marion Cemetery will follow.
Rosella was born Aug. 16, 1929 to David B. and Bertha Nickel. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1947.
She taught elementary music for 13 years, all but two in Marion.
She is survived by a daughter, Patty; son Terry; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren survive her.
She was preceded by her husband, Norman, brother Milford Nickel, and sister Della Rittgers.
