Dan and Jan Schmidt and Carl Caecher of Salida, Colo., visited Pearl and Velma Hadley from Oct. 11 to 14. Dan participated for a third time in the Heartland Marathon at Cassoday.

Elizabeth Palmer, Addison, and Shiloh of Minneapolis, Minn., visited the Dave Lancaster family Oct. 12 and 13. Dirk Lancaster of Concordia visited the Lancasters on Oct. 13. They all attended the Harvest of Quilts luncheon at the Mennonite Brethren Church with Mary Lancaster.

Two guests joined 23 members at the Kings Daughters meeting Oct. 11 at Durham Baptist Church. Debbie Owens gave the lesson and Kathy Dirks and Eleanor Herbel were hostesses.

Russell Hamm visited his parents Larry and Ruth Hamm on Oct. 14.

Willis and Eleanor Herbel were Oct. 14 dinner guests of Chris Herbel and family at Lehigh.

Gus and Mildred Hamm spent the Oct. 13 weekend in Kansas City visiting their son, Randy.

A couples’ baby shower and barbecue for Justin and Amy Friesen was Oct. 13 at Wayne and Linda Friesen’s home.
