Rubena Jost

Rubena Jost, 92, of Hillsboro, died April 19, 2009, at Legacy Park, Peabody.

Born Aug. 14, 1916, in Collinsville, Okla., she was the daughter of Isaac and Agnes (Cornelsen) Loewen.

She was a homemaker.

On Feb. 10, 1943, she married Francis Jost in rural Hillsboro. He died in 1997.

Survivors include a son, Larry K. Jost of Peabody; a daughter, Sylvia King of Belmont, Calif.; a sister, Adena Feil of Vista, Calif; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were today (Wednesday) at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro, with Pastor Gaylord Goertzen presiding.

Burial preceded the services at Ebenfeld Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

A memorial fund has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas.
