Rubena Wiebe

Rubena Wiebe, 90, died Thursday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro. She was born Nov. 3, 1923, to Bernhard and Margaret (Jantzen) Wiens in Hooker, Okla.

She married Vernon Wiebe on May 30, 1947, in Hillsboro.

She is survived by her children, Hank Wiebe of Hillsboro, Rosemary Haury of Harrisburg, Pa., Margaret Wiebe of Hesston, Rachel Easter of Hesston, Kathy Loewen of Newton, and Kakim Kunantaev of Hillsboro; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandchild, Ben Haury.

Visitation was Monday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro. A celebration of life service was Tuesday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

A memorial fund has been established with Tabor College.
