Safe driving class planned

A safe driving course that could reduce participants’ insurance premiums will be offered 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Marion Elementary School library.

The class, open to all licensed drivers, includes no graded tests or actual driving. Cost is $25. Members of AARP, which is sponsoring the course, qualify for a $5 discount.

To be certified as completing the training, students must complete both four-hour sessions.

The class will be taught by Richard and Marilyn Riemer of Hillsboro. More information is available from them at (620) 947-3453 or from the Marion school district office at (620) 382-2117.
